About Us

Expert Colour Design is a professional, comprehensive and personalised Colour Design service with qualifications in the Art, Design and Construction industries.

We focus on the individual needs and desires of our clients and the environments in which they own or occupy. We aim to engage our clients through the design process, striving to make their ideas and dreams become a stunning reality.

We keep abreast of current trends and understand how important it is for a home to express the personality of the occupants. Our approach is unique, just like our clients.

The Process

An Interior or Exterior Colour Consultation can usually take an hour to an hour and a half on-site, depending on the size of the project and the level of detail required.

During this time, we build your palette together, to ensure that the chosen colours work beautifully throughout your property.

I take into consideration the aspect, lighting and architecture of your property, as well as your furnishings/ landscaping to ensure that we have chosen the best possible palette for your home/investment property or business, in the environment in which it is.

Once we have built the palette, I will type up a Colour Specification Sheet, which outlines where each colour is to be painted and the finish/product of the paint.

The palette colours will also appear on the electronic specification sheet, which will be emailed to you at the end of the Consult.

This document can then be passed on directly to your painter, when you are ready to paint and it also serves as a great tool for your records.

I can then also order A4 colour samples of your palette to be delivered to your home, free of charge.

Interior and Exterior packages are available.The Consultation fee is payable on the day of the Consult, by either cash or electronic bank transfer.

Colour Designer

Beth Adderley has worked in the Colour and Design Industry for over 20 years. Her work has been published in a number of magazines, both in Australia and abroad.

Beth started her career with a Bachelor Degree in Visual Art from Sydney College of the Arts, her Studio Major in Painting.

She then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Teaching at the University of Sydney and taught Visual Art and Visual Design in high school for over a decade.

Her love, passion and extensive knowledge for colour, design and architecture led her to pursue a career in Colour Design - specifically for Interiors and Exteriors of residential and commercial buildings.

She has completed two courses at The International School of Colour and Design in Sydney. She has a Diploma in Colour Design and a Diploma in Interior Decoration.

Beth has also worked as a Colour Designer for Dulux, Wattyl, Valspar and Mythic Paint. She has consulted in store for Bunnings Warehouse, Masters and Amazing Paints stores
